Drum roll please....
I am finally getting these on here. I'm so pleased with my self, I'm Pink.
We have had showing after showing; which has made it difficult, to say the least, to get all the wrapping and packing done. On the box I mean.
I have a confession: after going through the pictures, I realized that there is quite a bit that did not get photographed. I don't know if it was that, I was on a roll and forgot, or what: but I promise I will get better at this. I'm pretty ecstatic that I remembered to get this many.
Remember I did say (warn) in the beginning that I forget to take pictures all of the time.
So without further ado, here they are:
This is everything all wrapped up and ready to go into the box. . Whew!
This is the Angel that I re-imagined for her:
This is the Angel that I re-imagined for her:
She was sweet when I first spotted her.
I knew exactly what I wanted to do with her.
I liked her so much I bought 4 of them.
This is a sampling of the papers that I picked out for her:
Some of the embellishments that I made and picked to go in her box:
I am a big recycler and this was a great chance to use some things. I made one of my (hoarded) cheese boxes into a special holder for some of the small stuff:
Every girl needs a glittered Eiffel Tower in her stash.
It would make a great gift tag embellishment. and all of those sequins!
I was on a handmade heart kick this winter.
I also made the tag. It is 5 pieces
of tea dyed paper layered and glued and stamped.
I had a lot of fun making it. The quote is one of my favorites:

More embellishments:
Some handmade papers from India:
I made the butterfly and the paper wheels. The center of the one in the back is layered with tulle and rhinestone flower off of a rescued vintage formal dress .
The front and back of one of the book marks I made her:
So here I admit to playing with the picture in my phone and then somehow deleting all of the originals pictures:
I was waiting for the flower to dry.
So this is the front of one of them and back view of 2 of the cards and, the only full shot I have of the whole banner.
I loved playing with some of my stamps and gel pens. the letters are cut from a napkin.
I must admit I have banner love right now I think i have 4 of them made, each one different.
I made her 7 cards( envelopes) with empowering words or phrases: they each fold up into miniature envelopes. One for each day of the week. I hand wrote these . I think next time if this comes up I will stamp them or print them off .
I had a lot of fun with this box, but I think next time I'm going to use more fabric.
I had gotten all of this together and then for some reason quit taking pictures.
In addition to what you see, I added some pretty (tiny) little brads, a few more vintage wooden spools full of sweet bakers twine, 2 different colors of washi tape, a couple more handmade book markers. more paper, some glitter glue and a glue stick. I painted some small butterflies and there are a whole bunch more die cut shapes, flourishes, a crown, some more flower petals, etc. I also added a little packet of some gift tags that I had made last winter: I made them using a French book from 1890 (I just love estate sales). So I just kept adding until the box was almost uncloseable; and once I got it all in there it stayed!
I had a lot of fun with this box, but I think next time I'm going to incorporate more fabric.
So there you have it. This particular box was made with a certain sweet lady in mind. Every box will be especially made just for __________?
I have another name . When I'm done, I will post those pictures.
